Where is jango fett from

In combat, Jango used his harnessed jetpack to gain the advantage of speed and height over his enemies. The backpack also carried a nasty surprise -- an explosive rocket could be launched from it.

For interstellar travel, Jango traveled aboard his well-worn starship, Slave I. Obi-Wan meets Jango Fett on Kamino and attempts to gain valuable information about the clone army. But before the Jedi could interrogate Wesell, a mysterious figure in Mandalorian armor shot her dead with a toxic dart. The strange weapon led Obi-Wan to the waterworld of Kamino , where he discovered a galaxy-shaking secret.

Supposedly on Jedi orders, the Kaminoans had created an army of clones using the genetic material of a bounty hunter named Jango Fett. In the years before a Clone War, on one of the moons of Bogden, Jango was recruited by Darth Tyranus to be an clone genetic template for the clone-army created by the cloners of the planet Kamino. He agreed but in addition to his fee of credits, Fett requested an unaltered clone for himself one who was not subjected to the typical growth acceleration and behavioral modifications given to the clones.

Fett raised the clone as an son who he'd named Boba Fett , and remained on Kamino to supervise the training of the Clone Troopers. Fett had then subcontracted a Clawdite Bounty hunter Zam Wesell to carry out these attempts. After Wesell failed to kill Amidala upon the senator's arrival on Coruscant, Jango provided her an pair of deadly kouhuns and tasked her to kill Amidala in her sleep.

Wesell fled but was apprehended by the Jedi after an lengthy pursuit throughout Coruscant. However, before she could reveal the identity of her employer to the two Jedi, Jango killed her from afar with a Kamino Saberdart. As part in a Jedi investigation into these assassination attempts, Fett was tracked back to Kamino by Obi-Wan after this Jedi was able to determine the Kaminoan origins of an Saberdart used to kill Zam.

There, the two met under civil circumstances at Fett's Tipoca City Apartment. Jango was questioned by Kenobi who wished to know the details surrounding the creation of an Army of clones and Jango's knowledge of an Jedi Sifo-Dyas.

Jango only told Kenobi that he had never heard of anyone named Sifo-Dyas, and that he was recruited by someone called Tyranus. After Kenobi left, Fett told Boba they would be leaving. However, at their landing platform where Fett's ship, the Slave I was docked, they were ambushed by Obi-Wan.

The two battled for a brief time before Obi-Wan went over the edge at the landing platform, giving Fett an opportunity to escape. Ad — content continues below.

Jango was hired by Count Dooku to travel to the planet Kamino and donate the DNA needed to create the Clone Army, the same one that would one day turn on the Jedi and help destroy the Order. In that way, Jango is a pivotal player in the chain of events that led to the rise of the Empire and the events of the Original Trilogy.

During this time, Jango also asked the Kaminoans to create Boba Fett, who is an unaltered clone of the bounty hunter, meaning that his genetic structure was not tampered with like the other clones. Among other things, this meant Boba Fett aged normally like a regular human as opposed to his other clone counterparts. As we learn in Attack of the Clones , Jango is raising Boba as his own son before being cut down on Geonosis. In fact, Jango was a foundling just like Mando.
