Is it possible to kill delphine in skyrim

The console command setessential 0 can also be used to avoid killing Paarthurnax, which allows the Blades to be killed instead. He is closely associated with Delphine, another Blade operative. He is being persecuted and, therefore, is very cautious. After recruiting three new Blades members, Esbern will send the Dragonborn to kill a certain dragon, and the Dragonborn must take at least one of the Blades recruits with him. Edit 2: This is taking longer than I thought Ill most likely have the answer for all of you hopefully soon or someone else tries before me.

I get worried that I might make some borken quests by trying to live. Then after you keep attacking her nothing. She eventually just gets back up.

So im just going to say this is a glitch. I also did some other research online. I have been to youtube, a lot of gameboards, and the 2 wiki's. Last edited by SpeedFreak ; 26 Jul, am. The Blades said they hit the Thalmor before they got out of their borders, therefor before they expanded from the Summerset Islands.

All the rest you said is so as caduc as indigest to read Truth is, after the massive failure that they were during the Oblivion crisis, the Blades needed to justify their existence to the Empire, and chose to bully the most slaughtered race of the Oblivion crisis, but boi how wrong were they You can see how absurd are the Blades when Delphine says Thalmors must have caused the Red Montain eruption even tho players of TES: Morrowind knowsthey have nothing to do with it , and then entering Skyrim, Delphine says Thalmor caused the dragons to return, pushing you causing a serious incident regarding the peace treaty, only to find out they are totally unrelated.

Last thing I am doing is giving justification for the Blades, Empire, Thalmor or Little Ronnie down the street who egged old man johnsons Plymoth Skylark. The Thalmor which is a political organization of dissidents mind you, overthrew the designated Authority after the Oblivion Crisis. They ceded from the Empire and invaded Valanwood taking that provience as well.

They ran a scam on the Khajit and absorbed them also. It's a nice courtesy and act of politeness, just something to get you more immersed in the game. However, Delphine, innkeeper of Riverwood inn , doesn't do this. She's the only one known in Skyrim who will refuse to show you to your room, or simply can't be bothered to do it. No wonder she's eager to get back to Blades business, she's a terrible innkeeper. Towards the very end of the main quest, Delphine and the rest of the Blades will have set up camp in Sky Haven temple.

Delphine will specifically ask you to finish the job and slay Paarthurnax, the last major dragon who was associated with the main antagonist Alduin. If you choose not to, she can banish you from Sky Haven Temple. This doesn't make the sense, since the player is the Dragonborn. The Blades shouldn't be allowed to banish the very person they were sworn to protect and serve. The fact that Delphine can do this is just strange and frankly quite annoying.

The Blades were always meant to serve and protect the Dragonborn. As such, it's not the Dragonborn's job to go on dangerous missions and fetch various items while the Blades just sit back and relax. And yet, this is exactly what you end up doing for Delphine when she asks you to infiltrate the Thalmor Embassy for instead. This is such a perfect example, more so because as you arrive to the embassy you'll see Delphine simply stand outside and never go in with you.

Of course, it would be difficult to have two people infiltrate, but it's hard to see why she couldn't simply do it herself or have someone else do it. Speaking of the Thalmor, their role in the main quest seems forced at best, and Delphine is the main culprit.
