How long do ego t atomizers last
Try these easy trouble-shooting suggestions before you decide that you need to replace your battery. Your charger may not be fully contacting your battery, in which case it is not going to charge. Remember first of all that the charger screws onto the battery, just like the atomizer does.
In order to start your battery charging, you have to screw the charger onto the battery so that the firing pin touches the charger. Check and make sure the screw threads are aligned and that the charger is being screwed on straight. When the charger and battery are connected correctly and you plug the charger in, the battery button light will flash a couple of times and the charger indicator light will turn either red or green to indicate whether the battery is depleted or full.
If both of these things do not happen, then you do not have a good connection. If your atomizer or clearomizer tank is leaking, you will get e juice on the firing pin of your battery.
It is easy to see whether there is e juice present simply by looking at the place where the battery connects to the charger. If there is e juice on the firing pin, then far less or no charge will pass from the charger to the battery.
If you see e juice on the firing pin, first clean it off with a soft cloth and then address the cause of your tank leaking. The most common reason why tanks leak is because they are not full. The vacuum cleaner can pick up the ball as long as the ball is fully covering the opening to the tube, but as soon as the seal is broken the ball will fall down. Similarly, if there is too much air in your atomizer tank, the vacuum seal can be broken and the tank may start leaking.
Refill the tank, clean off any leaked e juice with a soft cloth, and try again to see if the leakage problem has been fixed. As with all electronics, the eGo Twist battery does not last forever.
As it ages, it will take longer to charge and will hold its charge for less time. This is just the same ageing process that you may have noticed with cell phone and laptop batteries. If you are noticing your battery life is decreasing, it may be time to think about replacing your eGo battery with a new one.
You can usually count on at least six months of good solid use from your eGo battery before it starts losing charge power, excluding user damage or manufacturing defects. Some people scoff at that and will keep theirs till it just dies. Which can be as a long as a month or two. But for the best experience change your atomizer at least once a month and you should be good Batteries every 4 months or when they stop holding a charge.
Thanks Christopher. You have been a great help and I think that it is really cool that, as the site's founder, you are so involved and willing to help out a noob. My wife has been using the same two LR eGo-T attys for 4 months. I took a toot of one the other day and was amazed at how well they still work. I never clean mine, just use them until they stop performing well or die. In general though, an atty will last weeks. However, occasionally you get a real good one that will go for a while.
My experience with the eGo-T attys is that it doesn't seem to matter. Those are the only LR attys I've used. I normally use a regular Joye attys with higher voltage. There's not a huge difference in the ohms between the two. The LR's run around 1. I think it's a different story with the atty where you have 1. A month and even more on my LR's, however, I did get two new atty's from different vendors and they were pretty much unusable from the start. Tough pull on one, and the other vapes poorly.
You should have at least a few on hand, more if possible. Time is a pretty meaningless concept when applied to atomisers and cartos - what actually reflects true "life" is the amount of juice put through one before it wimps or dies. A good atty should take around 40ml of juice at least before needing replacement. I know someone who vapes 10ml a day - so that's a "life" of 4 days!
I vape ml per day so life is between two to three weeks or more Its always a crapshoot with attys. Some will last many months, some will last many hours.
