Using the sterile applicators included with the medication, the user will swipe the serum onto the upper eyelashes. It only takes a few minutes every day to apply, and it is applied in a similar manner as mascara and eyeliner.

It is recommended that you use the serum about an hour before bedtime so that it has time to fully dry and absorb, although you can use it in the morning as long as you do not use any cosmetics for at least 15 minutes after you apply it. You can use mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow, and other makeup while using this serum. Apply this treatment before your cosmetics. Do not apply any cosmetics such as face cream or mascara to your skin or eyelashes for 15 minutes after you use the solution.

This allows the solution enough time to absorb into your eyelashes and eyelids. If you apply the serum at night, be sure to remove all makeup before applying it. You should only apply this solution with the applicator brushes that come with it. Do not use any other items or brushes to apply the serum, as this increases the risk of spreading bacteria to your eyes.

Use a separate applicator when applying the solution to each eyelid and then dispose of the applicators. Do not reuse any of the brushes. This solution should not be used on lower eyelashes because it can darken the skin under your eyes. It should be noted that this serum can darken the skin on the upper eyelids, as well, and even the skin around the eyes has the potential to darken while using this serum.

It is important to let the serum dry completely before going to bed so that your lashes do not rub it onto the skin under your eyes. While this medication is not intended for eyebrows, it can cause your eyebrows to grow longer, thicker and fuller, if that is your desire. However, it is not yet approved by the FDA as a treatment for eyebrows, even though some doctors may prescribe the serum to improve the appearance of them.
